Oui, Girls (1981)

During the 60's and 70's, many magazine companies were booming left and right. The major players were, of course, Playboy, Penthouse, and tons of low budget magazines that were storming the shelves to create competition.

Oui was no exception, only with this, it was also a porn movie as well as a magazine. The movie is more of a fictional film rather than a "Profile" video. The movie uses some of the girls that have appeared in the magazine. I won't give away the plot as that would spoil the plot for those who are into such films. Please understand this film was made around the 1970's, a time when the porn industry was still growing. There is lots of sex, lots of nudity, and it's on DVD.

Oddly enough, the quality of the film is actually pretty good for a VHS to DVD conversion. It's almost as if it was remastered for the fans of this film or anyone who is into retro movies. The sound quality is still about the same as it was when it was made, so the sound will be of the 1970's quality. Since this is a porn movie, don't expect an oscar winning performance. Definitely for adults only. This is mostly for fans of the retro porn industry.

Perils of Prunella (1981)

This kinky tale of bondage and discipline starts with Prunella staying late at work, she accidentally stumbles upon a gag and handcuffs in her boss' desk. Since nobody is in the office she decides to try them on. While admiring herself in the bathroom mirror Prunella drops the key to the handcuffs, at this moment her boss unexpectedly comes into the office and notices the lights are on, she then stumbles across Prunella decked out in her bondage accessories. The boss laughs at her in this awkward situation and eventually helps her out of the handcuffs and gag. Embarrassed Prunella leaves to meet her boyfriend. The next day (presumably Saturday) we see Prunella coming back to her house after playing tennis, when she walks into her living room she is stunned to finds two intruders there waiting for her. The two proceed to kidnap her and take her to a mysterious Chateau, while there she is introduced to Sir James, who runs a white slave/B&D business and sells his 'trained' girls to a group of rich clients. From this moment on Prunella is tied up, gagged, tickled, whipped, hung upside down and chained in order to make her a perfect 'slave'.

A Girl's Best Friend (1981)

The story involves a hectic and hilarious chase as Mrs. Leautrec (Juliet Anderson) and her dashing son Paul (Ron Jeremy) stalk three incredibly beautiful diamonds through the ballrooms and bedrooms of Europe, using love and lust as tools of their trade. Hot on the trail of the third and finest diamond, the notorious anti-heroes find themselves at an elegant New York disco where Mrs. Leautrec meets the diamond's owner, Mr. Greenfield, while Paul strikes an unusual sexual bargin with "The Lady in Red" (Samantha Fox). Mr. Greenfield, a multi-millionaire, invites Paul and his mother to his annual masquerade and orgy. As hundreds of masked party-goers publicly pursue their favorite perversions, Paul and his mother are caught in a sexually devious trap, causing them to lose the diamond to yet another thief (Veronica Hart).

With fabulous cinematography by Larry Revene, smart use of exotic location stock shots and a relentlessly groovy disco soundtrack, this is pure undiluted "Golden Age" porno as it exists in most people's memories.
