"Health Spa" is a movie truly deserving to be called erotic. It's warm and sensual but still thrilling. The lovely Abigail Clayton is wonderful in it but viewers will always remember Kay Parker ("Taboo"). One of the genre's "mature" actresses, she was always a joy to watch onscreen. It was directed by former adult film actress Clair Dia, at a time when not many women had done adult features. Her woman's touch definitely shows but it will satisfy most men.

Nikita - Sexy Killer (1996)

Lengthy opening has a drunken Sarah, with four of her mates, invading a rich couple's home. They have group sex downstairs (endlessly), with Sarah doing her patented d.p. thing, and then head for the safe to steal the goodies.

Davis Smith that boasts a fair share of clunky pans and clumsy tracking shots, the inevitable get-down groovy and grinding disco music complete with an incessant thumping beat and wickedly wailin' wah-wah guitar, incredibly stiff (non)acting, a gloriously ludicrous premise, and chintzy (far from) special effects. Naturally, there's plentiful raw and raunchy hardcore copulation that includes fellatio, cunnilingus, lesbian coupling, and some nice group session stuff. Me Decade porn favorites Annie Sprinkle, Vanessa Del Rio, and Robert Kerman all get down and dirty with pleasing lascivious aplomb. A total tacky riot.

Chief problem for over-achieving director Duncan Stewart is casting Marc Brock in the leading role of Count Dracula. This familiar porn face, usually resembling Eric Bogosian but due to amateurish heavy makeup nearly unrecognizable here, is a ham-bone, and his strenuous overacting does elicit some laughs, but only the unintentional kind.

The mythos for this Count is completely different from those familiar to horror fans. He walks around in the daytime, doesn't bite anyone on the neck, and instead of blood is immortal by virtue of a special potion made out of human sperm.

The sound quality is still about the same as it was when it was made, so the sound will be of the 1970's quality. Since this is a porn movie, don't expect an oscar winning performance. Definitely for adults only. This is mostly for fans of the retro porn industry.

Thanks to the folks at Vinegar Syndrome DVD authoring for dredging up a bunch of old exploitational weirdness and foisting it upon an unsuspecting public. They have released a series of 'double feature' DVDs in their "Drive-In Collection"- presenting 2 films on a single disk. This, Asian inspired, offering of "Vixens of Kung Fu" and "Oriental Blue" is actually the only one of their 2-fer packages that I've watched so far - but if it is any indication of their other products I may well be going back for more!

I was initially intrigued by the write-up for these two flix - speaking as it did of vengeful kung-fu maidens and white slavery in Chinatown - it sounded like a formula for some good bent drama and a little skin to be on display. What the film synopsis did NOT mention, however, is that both of these movies are fully hard core XXX '70's porn! A closer look at the cast should have given a clue - with the likes of porn legends C.J. Laing & Jamie Gillis prominently featured in both flix - this is more like 42nd Street fare than any drive-in features I was ever privileged to see - back in the day!

He confides that he fell in love with a woman called Tracy, a woman that came to the chateau like every other woman in hopes of fulfilling her dreams of fame and fortune. He goes even further, explaining that he is on the run from the authorities while principally concealing the brutal criminal activity that he lauded inside the brutal walls of the chateau. The narration by the drunk suddenly ceases and so the story begins…

Mark Of The Whip 2 (2010)

Mark of the Whip 2 features some of the strongest whipping scenes ever seen in such a movie. This one will take you on a stylishly dark journey into the depths of erotic depravity.

Barbara Broadcast (1977)
