The Seduction of Cindy stars both Seka and Veronica Hart. Seka plays the title role of Cindy. Veronica Hart plays her friend who relates the story of how Cindy's Husband (Jerome Carter)enlisted her and others to "seduce" Cindy and make her a more sexual person. This happens in various ways which is the basis of the movie. Cindy works as a film editor so pornography is used to loosen her up. Veronica seduces her into a lesbian tryst. Bobby Astyr is asked to bring her a film to edit which is x rated and this gets Cindy (Seka) hot and bothered. Although Seka was not on the better actresses of her time, everyone else are well above average adult actors. Seka does a decent job and the sex scenes are pretty good. recommended especially for those who enjoy watching the "Golden Age" of Adult films

A Place Beyond Shame (1980)

Former actor Fred Lincoln and current actress Sharon Mitchell demonstrate how a typical plot situation can be turned into an explosive sex film through outstanding sex scenes. Seka plays a woman with hang-ups seeking the advice of therapist Paul Thomas. He puts people in touch with their thoughts -- their 'book of thoughts' -- a role Thomas has played in countless films. His analysis makes Seka live out her problems, and plot is secondary to sex in this one.

The highlight of the film is the entire middle portion, four sex scenes continually cross cut with one another. China Leigh and Mai Lin are featured in an Oriental lesbian scene that becomes a three-way when Billy Dee joins in. Aaron Stuart plays a Russian Cossack who bangs the brains out of cult adult film goddess Diana Holt. One of the hottest anal scenes ever filmed involves Jesse Adams and Lysa Thatcher in a multiple positioned, groin boggling episode in back door heat. Seka's reputation will not be tarnished in her scenes with Paul, nor will any of the other sex bits marr what must rank as a triumph in eroticism. Definitely for fans of hot sex and it should also have strange appeal for couples. Included in the cast are many of the unsung, underrated stars of the San Francisco Bay Area scene.

Confessions of Seka (1980)

Porn films were cranked out by the thousands at the time of Confessions of Seka, but this one remains in my memory due to one quite oddball scene, which in retrospect might be considered experimental. Seka, a very big star in the industry at the time, appears to be quite stoned for real in this film, and there is a lengthy exposition scene in the backseat of a moving car where clearly she hasn't a clue to what her lines of dialog are. Trouper Veronica Hart takes over and through prompts and just plain moving forward at all costs handles both sides of the conversation, not too elegantly covering for poor Ms. Seka. Since the hardcore porn content of most of these films (though not all -see several great works of the period featuring Hart like A Scent of Heather) is and was clinically boring, such odd acting scenes are what stand out. Even though ostensibly these movies were strictly about the sex, as borne out in more recent decades with the dominance of All-Sex videos crowding plotted stories out of the market: Gresham's Law.

17 year old Saki lives in a run-down s hack with mom who survives by pushing a food cart from dawn to dusk.
